The Oxfordshire DAAT is proud to support the third World Hepatitis Day - taking place on Wednesday 19th May 2010. We are pledging our support to this global awareness event for chronic viral hepatitis B and C. The World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA) has been liaising with groups and organisations throughout the globe to ensure this year's World Hepatitis Day is the most successful to date! World Hepatitis Day is coordinated by the World Hepatitis Alliance a 'by patients, for patients' organisation. The initiative is more than just one day - every component of the global campaign is focused on achieving specific five-year targets to improve the lives of people with hepatitis wherever they are. In order to maintain momentum and deliver real improvements in health outcomes for people living with chronic viral hepatitis B and C, efforts must be sustained and expanded.
