World
Hepatitis Day is coordinated by the
World Hepatitis Alliance a 'by patients, for patients'
organisation. The initiative is more than just one day - every
component of the global campaign is focused on achieving specific
five-year targets to improve the lives of people with hepatitis
wherever they are. In order to maintain momentum and deliver
real improvements in health outcomes for people living with
chronic viral hepatitis B and C, efforts must be sustained
and expanded.
